Obsessed with the emergency response world, when asked to do a shoot for Brewster Ambulance to help build up their marketing materials, Happy Zebra half near fell out of her chair! Now if only we’d get a similar call from a Police or a Fire Department… that day, the Zebra might just die!

A super awesome opportunity for us that a very good friend and an occassional Chez Zebra photographer helped cover at the Artist for Humanity in South Boston. What’s most appropriate about this event is how often the Happy Zebra has walked into East Side Hair Salon in Southie (a place she’s been loyal to for 20 years) and said: Let’s do something different…  

The day of the first Brewster Ambulance shoot, we spent a few hours roaming the city to find good spots to capture their new fleet and just before we wrapped up for the day, Lorna Ross, their spunky Director of Operations, asked if I wanted to see some of their retired fleet.  Not thinking much of it, I followed her to a garage and damn near burst into song when I saw them!  Forget the new and shinny guys!  These retired beauts are what dreams are made of!  At least Happy Zebra dreams are…
